And with some of our loyal customers using our platform for over five years, we know we're doing something right. We're dedicated to meeting and exceeding their standards every step of the way.

But our aspirations go beyond just being the top cleaning service platform in our region - we're setting our sights on becoming the number 1 platform worldwide! What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our team of over 20 passionate individuals is our greatest achievement. We pride ourselves on fostering a work environment where everyone loves what they do and feels appreciated for their contributions. Our dedication to our team has paid off, as we've been able to double our orders year over year by expanding beyond our Miami hometown.

We're thrilled to have been able to grow our business by servicing a wide range of commercial accounts, from spa accounts ordering service of just 30 pounds of cleaning linens to hotels ordering thousands of pounds. Our ability to provide outstanding service and quality to such diverse clients is a testament to our commitment to excellence. We're excited to continue expanding our footprint and serving even more satisfied customers in the future.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Navigating the challenges of fraud chargebacks and meeting our partners' high expectations have been some of the most daunting hurdles we've faced. However, we're proud to say that we're constantly improving and developing new strategies to overcome these obstacles.

To combat fraud chargebacks, we've implemented a comprehensive system of documentation and verification to ensure that payments are collected only from the rightful cardholders. This approach has proven to be highly effective, and we're able to detect and prevent around three fraudulent chargeback attempts every month.

In addition to fraud prevention, we've also devoted considerable time and resources to meeting the diverse expectations of our partners. While this can be a time-consuming process, we firmly believe that educating and vetting our partners is essential to building long-lasting relationships based on mutual trust and understanding.

By remaining patient and working closely with our partners, we've been able to help them see the value of our platform, even if it takes a bit longer than they initially anticipated. Our dedication to excellence and our commitment to continuous improvement will ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our partners and provide outstanding service for years to come.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. When we first started out, we believed that having a fantastic service would be enough to attract a steady stream of customers. However, we soon learned that without effective marketing, our business would never reach its full potential. That's why we've made marketing our top priority, investing time and resources in developing powerful campaigns that capture the attention of our target audience and showcase the value of our service.
  2. As a business owner, I firmly believe that our team is our greatest asset. That's why we're committed to providing a supportive and challenging work environment that brings out the best in each and every employee or contractor. However, if someone is consistently failing to meet our standards, we're not afraid to make the tough decision to look for a replacement. By doing so, we ensure that our team is always comprised of talented and motivated individuals who share our vision for success.
  3. As our business continues to grow, we recognize the importance of delegation and trust. While it can be tempting to try and micromanage every aspect of the company, we know that doing so is simply not feasible. That's why we've established a strong upper management team that can handle day-to-day operations while I focus on the big-picture financials and KPIs.
