What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a solo Advanced Aesthetician in the state of Nevada, specifically Las Vegas. We cater to anyone with skin! Whether it be concerned with aging, acne, or skin health maintenance, we have you covered.
Tell us about yourself
After retiring from a career in sports, I was drawn to the skin industry. It’s become such a passion of mine it really does not feel like work. I look forward to continuing my education every chance I get. My background has helped me be very motivated and disciplined, having never had a world under anyone aside from myself.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I was rated top 25 Estheticians in Las Vegas earlier this year which meant a lot.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Currently, I would say the instability of the economy. Having flexibility as a business owner in setting my pricing, I try to stay affordable so that clients can continue their skincare as I see it as health, not a luxury,
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
There’s no such thing as too much education and saving, and budgeting. Financial knowledge is power.
