Gunter Media Group, Inc is a strategic management consulting firm. Our services focus on Strategy, Commercialization & Product Ideation. Our roster of customers in the information, publishing, and information technology industry sectors.
Tell us about yourself
After a successful career at Xerox, Dow Jones & Company, Elsevier, and the American Institute of Physics, I launched Gunter Media Group, Inc. to apply my knowledge, skill, and experience to my clients in helping them to achieve their strategic financial objectives. I am a builder who loves launching new innovative technology and services. What excites me every day is the opportunity to work on very innovative projects and to transform ideas, products, companies, and industries. I enjoy waking up every day to take steps toward achieving the objectives of each project. Ultimately, the results of my projects establish the momentum for new exciting projects.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My 100% success rate in helping my clients to achieve their strategic and financial objectives. Receiving their letters of appreciation for my involvement in their project is very gratifying.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As the business owner, you have many roles to play in building a successful business. Managing my time in each area of the business requires discipline, persistence, and patience to ensure that the company is staying on the right track.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Develop and de-risk your business plan. Turnover over every stone.
- Create a long and short-term business roap of key activities.
- Understand what administrative tools that you will utilize to manage your business.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I love building businesses and high-performing teams. It is very gratifying to see former colleagues establish themselves in a new organization utilizing the business principles that I taught them. I am always anxious and curious to achieve success.
