Translator Of Words And Behaviors - Grimidalv
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in freelancing but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Vladimir Godoroja, Founder of Grimidalv, located in Causeni, Moldova.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
Grimidalv, together with its customers, has been creating the alternative for more than ten years. We communicate the message in as many languages as possible and let humans decide for themselves.
Tell us about yourself
I am a freelance translator who started researching free and open-source software back in 2010. At that time, I joined oDesk, Elance, and Fiverr and got my first translation projects there. Later I created an ugly webpage (well, it loads much faster) and deployed a secure mail server as an alternative, all built on free-as-in-freedom software. Synchronicity is what drives me here.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I meet customers that perfectly match my interests, and I am very selective in projects.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Saying NO? To projects that offer money? Hmm, it cannot be that.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Get rid of fear. Free your consciousness. Keep it simple.
