What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are specialty coffee roasters based in Miami, FL. Our clients are cafes, bakeries, hotels, and restaurants, as well as individuals who love high-quality coffee that buy via our website.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up around coffee production as my family is from Guatemala and has been producing coffee for four generations.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to support wonderful coffee growers and our amazing clients year after year with sustainable growth.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The last few years have been full of challenges, from the pandemic to increasingly high prices of all of our raw materials.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Think long-term. Starting a business is a marathon, not a sprint.
  2. Personal relationships are everything. Cultivate them.
  3. A great product is important but not enough. Choose something you are extremely passionate about through thick and thin.
