What's your business, and who are your customers?

I own a local dance studio that teaches classes to ages 2 through adult.

Tell us about yourself

I have been dancing since I was three and turned pro at 15 with my first job at Walt Disney World. After that, I continued on to work for organizations such as The NBA, AFL, Royal Caribbean cruise lines, and multiple productions up and down the Las Vegas Strip. Then turned wife and mother to two beautiful daughters. I then started teaching dance part-time because I missed the dance world and wanted to get my foot back in the door. When presented with the opportunity to purchase a dance studio, I could not pass up the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Full filling a childhood dream.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Balancing my business life with my personal home life.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Make sure you love what you do, don’t give up, and follow your heart.
