What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a retired nurse, and for 23 years, I have been a brand ambassador partnered with The Shaklee Corporation. I help frustrated, tired, unhealthy women find simple solutions to feeling and looking better at any age. I also mentor emerging entrepreneurs to find purpose, freedom, and income with their online E-commerce wellness business.
Tell us about yourself
I am a retired nurse who was searching for solutions for my son's chronic illnesses. I learned the impact of what we put in ourselves, around ourselves, and on ourselves and how that affects our health. And I found simple healthy solutions to build health in my son and family. It had such a positive impact on us that I became passionate about sharing those solutions with others. There is a lot of confusion about health and wellness and how we can make positive changes in our health. I love helping others create simple solutions to living vibrant, energetic, and purposeful lives.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building my business from nothing as a stay-at-home mom with four children with no training in business to a 6 figure organization and team.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
It's all up to me. I know my zone of genius with connecting and helping others. Yet there are other parts of the business I am not good at, like bookkeeping and marketing, and I've learned to hire a VA to help me with those things.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
I am a legacy leader in the Network marketing industry. For over 23 years, I have built my business. I share all that I've learned with those I mentor. I help others learn how to maximize their networks to create powerful connections. And personal development is the key to any successful entrepreneur.
