What's your business, and who are your customers?

GoLearn.io specializes in consulting and coaching for business owners and executives of small and medium-sized companies. We also offer agency services as a done-for-you model to handle the sales, marketing, finance and assist with operational components in order to handle the increased demand we generate.

Tell us about yourself

I have been an entrepreneur and executive for 20 years, owning multiple businesses. I started in door-to-door sales and progressed to owning a multi-million door-to-door business with over 80 staff. I later sold that company in my 20’s. I then founded GoWrench, a mobile mechanic and tire service in Canada, and GoLearn.io (which does coaching and consulting for executives and business owners) and has a stake in multiple other startups. I am a coach to many CEOs… some even call me the CEO whisperer.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is founding 3 successful companies and using those skills to help dozens of other CEOs and business owners to grow and scale their businesses.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Sleepless nights when a business goes through a struggle, and you have to adapt and overcome whatever challenge you are facing, which gets your teams to do the same.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start early and fail fast.
  2. Be ready to adapt and even pivot as needed.
  3. Know your finances (or learn quickly).
