Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Gloria Manchester, President of Leadership Education Action Programs, located in Sacramento, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My coaching is specific to women in their 2nd half of life to reset their mindsets to begin living in their passion & purpose.

Tell us about yourself

I became a life coach in 2008 after the real estate crash. I was done with my financial business after surviving several setbacks in the economy. I wanted to thrive & empower other women to thrive and start over in the 2nd half of life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I created a non-profit to produce STARR SuperCamp Life & Leadership for teen girls who had been sexually abused or exploited.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I have three women that work with me part-time. The hardest thing in being a business owner is to market yourself while you run a full business time.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Find your passion, what you love, serve your purpose, and get a life & business coach for support & accountability to keep you moving in the right direction. Entrepreneurship is a testing ground for tenaciousness.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Empowered women, empower women.
