What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a financial planning and investment advisory firm. We specialize in advising four groups of clients. Young professionals who are a few years out of graduate school and need to get financially organized and pay off student loans, debt attorneys who often have very uneven cash flows from their practices and need to finance partnership purchases, and founders and tech workers, whose compensation often includes stock options of various kinds, and those planning for retirement.

Our mission statement includes this: We build up. We build up our clients, our community, and the other members of the firm. We want to help all our clients be the best versions of themselves, achieving all their goals.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Getting it launched. It is an enormous amount of work, balancing the marketing, financial planning & investment advisory, and compliance functions.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Probably turning people away who aren't a good fit to work with us.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be prepared to work harder than ever - but remember, you're building equity in your firm.
- Some days it is two steps forward and one back. Don't let it throw you.
- Consistent effort produces consistent results. Your only limit is your mindset.
