What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Multimedia Artist and Personal Development Coach. As a multimedia artist, I work with mission-driven brands to tell their story through marketing and content creation. As a Personal Development Coach, I primarily work with high school girls to help them feel more confident and empowered and adults who are looking to feel more aligned and lit up by their life. Overall, my mission is to spread giddiness.
Tell us about yourself
In college, I was a Division 1 athlete in my junior year, and I got a severe and complex case of mono and Lyme - I had to take a full year off from school. Everything I was used to identifying myself through was inaccessible, and my life was flipped upside down. Through the healing process, I felt adamant that I didn't want to waste any time not doing what lights me up in life. The adversity that I went through in college and years after, and now being on the other side, has sparked me to seek and create the life that I am living now from the ground up. I feel so excited about my projects and work that I quite literally leap out of bed some mornings.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I work with big outdoor brands like KAVU and Cotopaxi, and I have inspired hundreds of people to tap into their inner giddiness, but I would say the testimonials I have received as a Personal Development Coach feel like the biggest accomplishment and most profound.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The practice of taking my art seriously while keeping things light.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Work with a coach - I don't think I would be where I am now without my business coaches along the way!

- Trust your inner voice - that idea inside you that you keep coming back to and can't seem to let go of.
