What's your business, and who are your customers?
I coach girls in their ability to recover from failure. I work primarily with softball players on their defense. We focus on their mentality and mechanics.
Tell us about yourself
I first started giving lessons in 2014 when I realized there was a huge need for better information in the softball space. I try to share information in a way that my 12-year-old self would connect with.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment so far is growing the number of people that see me weekly from nothing to averaging 160 families per week.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things is wanting to be available at all times for the people you serve while balancing your personal time and health.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- It’s going to take longer than you think to achieve what will ultimately be your lifestyle. Stick with it.
- Consistency is key. Show up for your people, and they will start to count on you consistently.
- If you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to take care of your customers. Prioritize your health and mental wellness.
