What's your business, and who are your customers?
Funny Bunny Services is a spa & hotel service exclusive to rabbits only. Here at FBS, we understand the importance of a calm environment for these delicate animals and the need for more education on proper rabbit care in the world. We work together with hundreds of companies & rescues to change the way rabbits are seen and cared for! We have the pleasure of servicing thousands of rabbits yearly, guaranteeing they are pampered from nose to tail, and receiving the best care possible!
Tell us about yourself
I am a 23-year-old entrepreneur; my company was started in 2018, shortly after adopting a pair of bunnies myself! I then realized the everyday struggle of grooming and handling your rabbit. After a lot of research practice and dedication, I was helping a handful of rabbits around my community. After four years of hard work, quitting my 9-5, and deciding to stop my college studies, FBS is now servicing thousands of clients every year; we are even opening a second location in May 2022! Our motivation is seeing the smile on our client's faces knowing they are more comfortable when caring for their rabbit, and they are seeing a noticeable difference in the health, mood, & activity in their bunnies!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is my business as a whole! I am so thankful every day and blown away by the growth of my business. I am so happy to be able to connect with not only my community but the world! We entered the year 2022 with a bang and got a full paged article in the Toronto star, and we also made the cover of the business section! It was such an amazing accomplishment!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is not getting over-consumed in work; making your own hours and trying to manage a business can be very difficult & time-consuming. Finding time for yourself can be a challenge sometimes but realizing that you don't have to work 24/7 to be successful and starting with your mental health is the most important thing to succeed, as there is no business without you!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start now! The hike always beings with the first step!
- Make time for yourself and celebrate the little things just as much as the big!
- Take your time! It's not a race!
