What's your business, and who are your customers?
We're the Netflix of Healthcare Routines. Unlimited Access to ACE-certified trainer created, DR, PT, and OT routines for only $10 a month. Affordable health and wellness for everyone. Municipalities use us to keep their people moving and well. Businesses use us to engage and retain their employees while driving costs down. Home health uses us for their employees and their patients. Senior and assisted living use us to entertain and keep their residents mobile. Physical Therapy practices use us to keep their clients moving, without hurting them, after they leave their office. Everyone should move around a little more, but it doesn't have to be traditional exercise. Functional movement is good for everyone, and we found a way to deliver that right into people's homes and businesses.
Tell us about yourself
I was hit by a car while riding a bicycle and was in a wheelchair and bed for two months while I recovered. I used our routines from bed and seated to rehab and eventually got to where I could use the standing ones. I had been on the sidelines before but took a more active role as a co-founder and CSO when I saw firsthand how it could benefit everyone.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Streaming our routines into 32 million households in the US and Canada.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Juggling multiple things at once that are all important and necessary.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Educate yourself and learn about your industry.
- Make sure you understand how to market your product or service.
