What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business provides healthy, nourishing meals for families and individuals. We provide individualized meals that are unique and carefully thought out for each client's needs.
Tell us about yourself
I started out by helping my teacher from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition program with a detox program where I helped prepare some of the food. She was amazed by my ability and efficiency in the kitchen and immediately thought of clients that had reached out to her to prepare some meals. I was very interested, and from there started getting referrals immediately! I am so motivated when I hear how great clients feel about the food I prepare, meeting their goals, and how much they enjoy the variety and new flavours.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is really starting from having no idea how to start my own business to having a successful career that I built myself and enjoyed!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is all of the different responsibilities and unforeseen challenges that come up. It's not always spending your time doing the thing you love to do most.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The top 3 tips I would give to anyone starting their own business are to be patient, work hard, and not give up. If you are passionate and motivated, success will find you!
