What's your business, and who are your customers?

One of my favorites is our Virtual Assistant business, Real Agent Helper. We hire employees from different countries to help people with the tasks that they don't have the time or the stamina for. Our target clients are people in the real estate industry who are too busy to do everything and need help: mostly Real Estate Agents, Investors, and Syndicators.

Tell us about yourself

So I was a full-time school teacher and worked a part-time job as well. I started to put my saved money into real estate. My friend Pedro offered a free zoom presentation about starting an online business. I figured that I needed to have a better online presence. I love being able to help my friends with their businesses.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Starting a profitable business with $1200 that has grown so well that it has its own human resources department. All while only averaging about an hour a day on that business.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Not only dealing with employees when they are unhappy but also with unhappy clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a need and help solve it for others.
  2. It's not about sales. It's about relationships.
  3. Start small and learn along the way. You can't wait until everything is perfect.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

We also do Real Estate Syndications, have a small Caribbean hotel, run a REIA, etc. Always loving the Entrepreneur life.
