What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our Physiotherapy Clinic caters to all ages and all abilities, from pro athletes to babies to 95-year-olds. We offer a boutique-style clinic in the heart of Tuxedo, emphasizing IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation), dry needling, acupuncture, pediatric physiotherapy, visceral manipulation, and massage therapy.
Tell us about yourself
I was an athlete my whole life and an outgoing person in nature. I started running bootcamps and working as a personal trainer before becoming a Physio. My family and friends always thought I would be a "boss." I guess that comes with being a "LEO." I love helping people and making them feel alive again. My goal is to show people they are capable with a little guidance and treatment. I enjoy helping people get back to what they love pain-free.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to do what I'm passionate about every day. It has also been very rewarding opening my new space in Tuxedo and focusing my trade in unique areas of practice.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being away from my family. Managing staff can be challenging at times, though also very rewarding. You all have to be prepared to market yourself and your trade.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
It's very rewarding working for yourself, Though be prepared to put in countless hours. Managing at times can be quite stressful, so have a strong support system.
