What's your business, and who are your customers?

Firefly Recovery is an athletic recovery device trusted by over 300 pro and collegiate teams, everyday athletes, and weekend warriors.

Tell us about yourself

I have a background in traditional CPG and have always wanted to do something entrepreneurial. Every day I speak to athletes who tell me how our product is making their training and recovery more accessible and feel better in their bodies, which motivates me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We just completed our first fundraiser and brought on pro athletes and performance experts as investors and advisors.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Due to fluctuations in demand and significant increases, we have had some inventory management issues.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do something you care about.
  2. Work on a relevant and essential product for your core consumer.
  3. Be creative - we have found unique solutions to our business problems.
