Tell us about yourself

My name is Carolyn Colleen. I was born and raised in the Midwest and am a self-described FIERCE mother, daughter, sister, and friend. While my past has made a permanent stamp on my life, it doesn’t define me. My past trauma and abuse have positioned me to develop and leverage grit so that I can serve other women who want to transform their lives, too. As a proud mom, corporate leader, and life & business strategist, I understand it can feel impossible to add yet another thing to the task list. However, I feel passionate that you can transform your life in the midst of all that’s going on in your life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The biggest accomplishment as a business owner is getting back up after being knocked down.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is to train others to grow and let them fly. Your business is your baby; once you teach it to flourish, letting it grow and allowing others to take charge is difficult and fulfilling.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Grow your relationships, seek out mentors, block time out every week to review your books, and get a gold medal in one product before creating another. Too many products at once will make things harder than they need to be.
