What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a business that specializes in promoting Black/African-owned beauty products. We also offer services such as makeovers, One-on-One coaching sessions, and studio space for rent.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Felicita Ovadje, and I am an immigrant to Canada. I believe in making a change in my community. I realized there was a lack of a central hub where I could access black/African -owned beauty brands hence the journey to Felicheeta Artistry.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to set up our store in the middle of a pandemic.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Raining funds for our business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Raise twice the funds you believe you need for your business.
- Invest in marketing before you launch your business.
- Create systems that would help your business work without you.
