What's your business, and who are your customers?

F2F is an aggregate platform where urban families can book personal farmland on lease with a personal farmer, receive remote monitoring through CCTV and Satellite, doorstep delivery in code locking bags, a personal dietician and health consultant with a full body check-up, and have the option to invite a chef, and that's all for just INR 3000 to 5000 per month. We offer the farmer 14–16 lakhs for every 2 acres of land. Our customers are urban families.

Tell us about yourself

I have more than 16 years of corporate experience, including 3 years of international experience across sales, marketing, and business development domains. I understand the Indian and International markets and customer behavior. I have only worked for the last 5 years in the Agri sector. I have interacted with more than 200 urban families and 50 farmers to understand their requirements, preferences, etc. I've always wanted to serve people good, healthy food and support our farmers, which is why our vision is "Healthy Nation, Wealthy Farmer."

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Now that we have a good number of urban families, we are serving good and healthy food and fixing farmers' incomes. We are changing their lives. We received government grants and now have the opportunity to collaborate closely with government agencies.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Due to a lack of funds and a team, I used to perform every task by myself on a shoestring budget. I had to serve in that money while also running a business; however, things have changed.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Never build a liability.
  2. Don't share much of your ideas with random people because they will first demotivate you.
  3. Whatever happens, have faith in yourself and your idea.
