Tell us all about your business...
We are a casual but stylish restaurant focusing on wines, craft beer, quality dishes, and locally sourced ingredients. My business offers a large selection of wine. Our guests have a good opportunity to "travel" with us from Europe to South America, South Africa, California, or Australia to Canada by tasting and learning all about good wines.
Our customers are from the region and not only people who love wines and good food, but those who love the cozy atmosphere, live music, and those who look for a good quality services.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm coming from that part of the world (Transylvania-Romania) where hospitality is a natural thing. I'm an educated person with an engineering background and tremendous experience in software, design, and managing people.
I'm that person who is up for a new challenge every day. A person who loves numbers, deadlines, and high quality of work. I am also passionate about providing service with high standards to make my customers happy. And I'm that person who loves to manage people.
When I purchased this business more than 4 years ago, I accepted a new challenge of doing something totally different than I was even thinking ever.
But this motivated me, I did lots of work, and spend so much time meeting deadlines after deadlines. Walking through almost all jobs.... serving, cooking, managing my staff, basic accounting, wine tasting, making cocktails...everything with high standards.
My goals are to give a touch of perfection to everything I have worked on so far, performance satisfaction, and to keep my employees happy and self-motivated.
