What's your business, and who are your customers?
Exceptional HR Solutions provides fractional HR services to small to medium size companies. We build out and/or build your HR infrastructure, and additionally, we can become your HR department.
Tell us about yourself
I have spent over 25 years in Human resources leadership and 15+ years providing Executive coaching to leaders, from individual contributors to Chairmen of the Board. I truly love making a positive impact on companies and their employees. The ability to partner with someone to help them achieve career success is such an important part of what I do. Additionally, I love the ability to help companies align their people strategies with business objectives while also taking the heavy burden of people management so that leaders can focus on business growth and success.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My greatest accomplishment is helping growing companies achieve business and people success. The ability to partner with leaders and develop systems, processes, and structures to ensure that companies have everything they need to be amazingly successful and an employer of choice.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest part of being a business owner is the ability to grow your business and find the channels to build and grow your sales. Additionally, there are many components to starting and building a business, which consumes a lot of a business owner's time and money.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be prepared to put in 150% every day.
- Ensure that you have a good partner and mentor to support you in the journey.
- You need to ensure that you have the financial means to support you through the first 2+ years.
