What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a men's guide and group facilitator, supporting men in developing a deeper presence in their lives and cultivating deeper connections with other guys through the creation of men's groups.
Tell us about yourself
Men's work changed my life when I discovered it in my 20s, and of all the different paths I've walked on the journey to becoming a more complete human, it's been the most consistently effective. I love helping men come alive and create lives of deeper fulfillment.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
There's nothing more satisfying than getting an update from a guy whose life has changed, be it from getting married, switching careers, or taking back their health in some powerful way.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
As with most things in the coaching world, the fun and easy stuff is working with clients, and the hard part is getting yourself in front of the right people at the right moment in time when they're ready for a change. The accelerated pace of social media and endless content requirements mean there's really never a moment one couldn't be creating something, so it can get overwhelming if I'm not careful.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Be passionate, authentic, and take good care of the people you hire on your team! Stay with it. Like most things, if you can survive the first year or two, it will get easier.
