What's your business, and who are your customers?

Evolution Solutions offers training and coaching methodologies focused on maximizing human potential. We have a unique toolbox of resources to create custom experiences for each client, leveraging cutting-edge tools, practices, and principles from various disciplines, including project management and conscious leadership, quantum science, epigenetics, and heart-brain coherence.

We coach and train people and organizations with all different focuses, from stress reduction - improving health, energy, and well-being - to scaling and growing businesses, increasing revenue, starting a new business, improving relationships and communication, finding purpose and meaning in life, and much more. Our approach is adaptable and applicable to many areas of focus – and that's where the customization comes into play. We work with our clients both in-person and online, which enables us to serve a global audience.

Tell us about yourself

I've literally been coaching people just about my entire life without knowing it was called "coaching." It was not only natural for me, but something I was deeply passionate about. There is nothing more rewarding than guiding people to step into their greatness and achieve what they often don't believe they can achieve! Even when I worked in the corporate world as a project manager and corporate trainer, I enjoyed coaching and mentoring people more than the day-to-day operational work.

It wasn't until my father was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) that I decided to leave the corporate world to pursue my passion of coaching full-time and open my company, Evolution Solutions. I then acquired coaching certifications in multiple methodologies. This gave me the freedom to be a caregiver for my father while running my business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Although I've been coaching for more than 20 years, I only founded Evolution Solutions in 2016, and in just six years, we have transformed the lives of literally hundreds of people in the U.S. and around the world. We have received inspiring testimonials from both individuals and organizations that keep us striving to go further faster so we can reach more people!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is knowing when to stop working. The lines are blurred between my free time and work time. As I love my business and what we do, I tend to spend a great deal of my free time on creative projects to either expand our offerings or further develop and enhance our current offerings to go above and beyond anything our clients have ever experienced. I love to create the "surprise and delight factor" for my clients.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Don't wait until you feel ready. If you wait until you feel as if you have it all figured out, you'll never start! Just start taking steps right now wherever you are, and it's in the active pursuit of your business that you'll learn the next steps and who and what you need to get there.
Choose the right business for you. There is a great quote by Howard Thurman that says it all: "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." Make sure you are starting a business that you absolutely love and not just one that you think will make you money. This is a key ingredient for success, and authentic excitement and passion are contagious.
Put yourself out there. When I first started my business, I was on the phone almost every day, making calls to see where I could speak for free to get my message out there. I spoke at businesses, clubs, and organizations as often as I could and quickly built up my business.
