What's your business, and who are your customers?

As an Ethics Consultant and Speaker, I work with organizations nationwide to improve ethics and ethical cultures within organizations.

Tell us about yourself

I've been a professional speaker since 2006 and earned the designation of Certified Speaking Professional, a designation that less than 5% of professional speakers have earned. I speak to organizations about how you can identify potential unethical activities and prevent them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having grown several businesses from inception, most have become widely successful, and some have been purchased by large public companies. Currently, in addition to being a VP in a public company, I own the Ethics Resource Group and Primeau Productions, a full-service video production company.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Weathering the storm of being a start-up. Those first few years can be hard - especially making payroll consistently. But, persistence and quality products or services consistently marketed and applied can lead to immense success.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Know the following:
1. Who is your market - specifically
2. What product do you solve for your market
3. What is the most effective way to connect with your market?
