What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business offers Transformational Ethics programs and continuing education to Massage therapists, Bodyworkers, Holistic practitioners, Coaches, Psychotherapists, End of Life Doulas, and anyone who cares for another. I am a practitioner, teacher, mentor, and author. I also offer Self Leadership coaching through my business, Ethical Dimensions.
Tell us about yourself
I have been in the profession of Massage Therapy and Body-centered transformation since 1991. I always knew deep within myself it is the presence of the practitioner that is most important. What motivates me...I love what I do. I love serving others with the gifts I have been given. My work gives me deep meaning and purpose in my life.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The first thing that comes to mind is I am blessed to do what I love to do. Thirty-plus years ago, I made up my mind to never work for anyone else. For the past 32 years, I have had my own businesses. This became a non-negotiable for me. I did what I set out to do and more. I did not give up.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
At first, it was overcoming my self-doubt and fear. One must be quite disciplined, intentional and have the mindset that I can do this, and I will never quit on myself or my Vision and Dreams.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
