Tell us about yourself

I live and work in Toronto and Canmore, Alberta, Canada. I work with mediums including Acrylic, Oil, Watercolour, Digital Illustrations, Charcoal, Knitting, Crochet, and Weaving.

My exhibition history includes in 2022 Calgary Peace Museum (collection of illustrations), Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In 2021 I exhibited with Being Scene (Workman Arts, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 2019 Expressive Arts Show, Brain Injury Society of Canada, and 1997 Weeds Cafe, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

My art-related education includes Integrated Media (Ontario College of Art and Design). Bachelor of Arts (University of Calgary), Bachelor of Fine Arts (Alberta University for the Arts), and Bachelor of Arts (University of Guelph). I have also taken classes at The Gardiner Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and Avenue Road School for the Arts.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Artwork and graphic design pieces.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the challenging things is finding motivation.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
