Animating Your Business Culture - Enta Solutions
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Adam Kolozetti, Co-Founder of Enta Solutions, located in Calgary, AB, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a corporate culture company. This means that we help business owners get their values off the wall and integrate them into how they run their businesses. We do this by sharing your stories both internally and externally using video production and social media marketing. Don't have your values defined? No problem, we run workshops to help facilitate that process. In fact, we even have a way of creating your business systems and processes that reflect your values as a business. Ultimately, we help businesses keep engaged workplaces that thrive as they grow.
Tell us about yourself
I am an Aerospace engineer by trade. After spending years working for large companies, I realized that employees' lack of engagement was partly due to a lack of understanding of not just what the company did but who they were and why they were here. Thus, my business partner Katelyn Bullock and I started Enta Solutions with the purpose of using our knowledge of building a great business and our systematic engineering background to help define and create great work cultures.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My greatest accomplishment is forming a team that is engaged, excited, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with very little oversite from myself. And we do it all remotely!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is the personal sacrifices in time, money, and energy that are required. For every success, there are 10 failures, and each weighs heavily. It is important to stay optimistic and treat every day like a gift. After all, you are doing what you love!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The most important thing I can say to a potential entrepreneur is, "Don't do it." The reason is that if you listen to me, then you have no business starting in the first place. The number one tip is to listen to your gut and don't let anyone talk you out of it. And you go for it (as I hope you do), then remember to be grateful for the opportunity to play in a sandbox with the best of the best. The final tip is to learn to be humble. The success of your business is tied to your growth as a person and as a leader.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Every business owner has a great story, and it's never finished. Learn to see the opportunities in front of you; you will always keep moving forward.
