What's your business, and who are your customers?
We create confidence on the go with our spill-proof and cordless gel manicure systems. Individuals today simply do not have the time or money to waste on expensive salon visits or lengthy 3 step gel systems. Most gel polish systems on the market contain inconvenient and hefty glass bottles, lengthy and tiresome steps, and of course, large UV/led lamps that require an outlet. To combat the time, expensive price tag, and inconvenience, we created an on-the-go gel manicure system that's spill-proof, one step, non-toxic, and cordless.
Tell us about yourself
Crystal and I both understood the necessity of our gel manicure system from the very beginning. Both of us having a full schedule meant that we had very little time to spend pampering ourselves at the nail salon. We knew right off the bat that this gel manicure system could revolutionize how women polish their nails.
We are both motivated by how much change this product can create. Having the ability to boost your confidence in 15 minutes or less, whenever and wherever you want, is life-changing.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Without any doubt, successfully launching a new product into a heavily saturated market is our biggest accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that we've experienced personally is dealing with the unpredictable.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stay persistent.
- Have a positive outlook. We cannot stress enough how important maintaining this perspective is even when the situation looks rough. We've found that by focusing on the good in the scenario, the good expands.
- Be willing to pivot. Sometimes, no matter how sound your plan seems, circumstances come into your business that you simply have no control over. Being able to review, adjust, and then conquer is a skill within itself.
