What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a full-service Functional medicine practitioner and Five Element Acupuncturist, and Herbalist. I work with clients all over, helping them with autoimmune issues, weight loss, fertility, GI issues, hormonal issues, and men's and women's health. I also work with pain management and emotional problems, i.e., depression and anxiety.

Tell us about yourself

I started in the health and wellness holistic medicine area as a busy advertising copywriter. I was progressively getting sick from a high-stress mode. I started seeing an acupuncturist and couldn't believe the results of my health progress.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is working in a beautiful city with great clients and results. I also worked in a Wellness center of a high-tech company where I could work in an integrative environment and see a good volume of patients and help them.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Organization, marketing, and stamina.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Get help with an assistant, whether virtual or in person.
  2. Get a great website and branding for yourself.
  3. Keep the follow-up with your patients.
