Create Financial Flexibility & Freedom - Embrace Any Future
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in professional development and wealth creation but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Rachel C. Ybarra, Founder of Embrace Any Future, located in Dallas, TX, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a wealth-building coaching program for mid-level corporate leaders who wish to achieve financial success or to do so in less time. Our coaching program is led by the founder, a CPA, a financial and operational leader for a Fortune 10 company, a successful investor, and a nationally recognized Latina Leader advancing economic empowerment.
We also have a mentoring program for rising female leaders focused on personal and positional power, investor mindset and skills, and conflict resolution. Our mentoring program includes a certified life coach in addition to our CPA/Investor founder, who has achieved financial success in a Fortune 10 company.
Our ideal clients are rising corporate and mid-level leaders who are life-long learners and interested in having a level playing field when it comes to driving their financial success. These individuals are interested in having a wealth-building team to advise but are not interested in releasing their financial decision-making power.
Tell us about yourself
After a successful corporate career and investments, my focus turned to help others achieve economic empowerment through my professional and community leadership efforts. I believe when we have more individuals who have achieved financial flexibility, this is good for society.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It is developing a unique program that ties together financial planning, wealth, and investment concepts and actively managing your corporate career like an investment. As one prospective client said when they reviewed the program:
"Quite frankly, I've never heard of such alignment in some of your subjects
therefore, I think it will be a home run."
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
If you are bootstrapping your business, the hardest thing about being a business owner is staying focused on the most important things to drive the most significant results. Having clarity is essential, and it isn't easy when you are also a philanthropist striving to advance economic empowerment on the social front.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Top Three Tips to help anyone start, run, or grow your business.
- Your network is everything. People exchange money for services based on trust. You have to already have someone's trust. Trust is the currency of how all business gets done.
- Hire a bookkeeper on day one and start building financial strength through your knowledge of the business and how to drive revenue growth and margin improvement. It will be almost impossible to have a banking or private equity lender if you don't have financials. And if you want to get certified, you will need good financials and tax returns. Start early and have the end in mind.
- Be kind to yourself. You will iterate as you promote your offerings based on market feedback. Be flexible and make changes and be kind to yourself and not expect that you will have it perfect on day one.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
From the beginning, think about what kind of business you want. Consider the business as an investment and have the end in mind. If you are looking to grow, scale, and ultimately one day sell the business, start building your wealth partner network, have a strong financial team member, and be ok with taking 7 to 10 years to create something that changes people's lives, your life.
