What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Elixir Media Co., we are a marketing company. Our customers are entrepreneurs and companies who want to train their employees on social media marketing.

Tell us about yourself

I got started working on Elixir because I did not like the traditional structure of most jobs. I knew there could be a place where we have fun and get our work done. Today, I am motivated by helping amazing woman entrepreneurs and growing with my team in life and work.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is making multiple six-figures with an amazing team, traveling the world, and taking my family along for the ride.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing about being a business owner is when a person you have grown to love on your team takes the next step on their journey in life.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Keep a magic jar of wins for when you want to burn it all to the ground.
  2. Remember, you cannot always get the best employees at the start, but you can grow them to be the best.
  3. TAKE BREAKS. Your business deserves you at 100 percent, and you cannot be at 100 percent if you're working around the clock.
