What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm an event planner & photographer. I curate exquisite and memorable experiences through luxury pop-up picnics, exclusive yacht cruises, and customizable events. Every aspect of our brand and what we do has been carefully designed, planned, and executed with a view to quality, sophistication, and glamour. I'm a creative at heart with an editorial eye for capturing portraits and inspiring brands. My clientele is individuals interested in celebrating special occasions and milestones through an elevated experience and photography.
Tell us about yourself
What started off as a hobby and creative outlet has quickly turned into this amazing job, which I am completely passionate about. I feel truly blessed to be able to use my passion to create the most beautiful and memorable experiences for each of my clients. I absolutely love helping others experience the world's beauty in the simplest yet most sophisticated way – the Elite way of living.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest achievement as a business owner is seeing the smile on my clients' faces and hearing all about their experiences. This is why I do what I do.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is the impact of self-doubt. Having self-doubt can hinder your ability to strive. You find yourself constantly second-guessing, leading to a lack of action and a lack of growth. It's important to find inspiration through like-minded professionals who are progressing and will inspire you to do the same.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- First and foremost, having the right mindset. Rome wasn't built in a day. Hard work and dedication are necessary for a successful business.
- Choose something that you love and ensure that it's profitable.
- Stay consistent. For any business to grow, you need to be consistent.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Being an entrepreneur has been one of the most rewarding decisions. While there are challenges to being an entrepreneur, having the opportunity to create memorable experiences for my clients has been so fulfilling.
