What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are not a dot.com marketing company. Rather, Elevated Marketing is a dot.Solutions agency! Every data point has a story to tell. Our team develops and implements digital marketing solutions backed by your business's unique data. Our data-driven process will produce intentional and measurable results over time; whether you need an advertising agency, SEO agency, content marketing, email marketing, and a lot more, we have you covered!
Tell us about yourself
I started in the yellow page industry and quickly fell in love with digital marketing. I led a large team of 28 people and had 10.5 million in marketing dollars underneath me, but my curiosity got the best of me. I eventually knew that what was selling was just cookie-cutter marketing, and I had the desire to be more. I meandered my way through marketing agencies, eventually figuring out that I could run my own. I started my marketing agency in 2017 and have been nothing but excited ever since to grow. My passion is for others to see what they don't see in themselves. I want others to see they can accomplish more than they think, whether that be my employees or the businesses we help.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have at least 7 former employees who have started their own businesses. Some of these I used for vendors of my business. When I see lightbulbs with individuals that start to believe in themselves, my work is done.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
That you have to make the decisions that no one else has to face and sometimes will never see. No matter what the situation is, it's the leader's job and responsibility to keep the ship running in the right direction.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
It's not a race; you are on your own journey. Look to others for inspiration but develop your own path to success. Running a business is not easy, and it doesn't get any easier as you grow. You do this because you like to build, and you like the challenges. So accept both the ups and downs as the good times, and you will get through it.
