What's your business, and who are your customers?
At El Dorado, we want to share our passion for baking and cooking. We want to serve the community by providing homemade goods sprinkled with love. We carry a diverse selection of products. Our most sought and popular products range from our fruit tarts to our delicious Latin flavored empanadas. With a wide selection of sweet and savory pies, we believe that no pie is too big or too small. Every product is made with love, just like Grandma used to make!
Tell us about yourself
My mission is to delight our customers with quality homemade baked goods, which you will love to share with your friends and family. Baking is my passion, and I ensure every baked good has the standards I would serve my children and family. I am a proud mother with a passion for baking. I love to share the love of baking with the rest of the world.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a woman and an immigrant mother, I was able to provide for my children and set an example. If you have passion, discipline, and perseverance, there are no limits to achieving your dreams. I am also able to share my Latin-American Peruvian heritage through baking.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Long work hours. Time management is the most important key in a business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Find your passion, set goals, and focus on the end product or service. I believe in the saying, "What you give is what you get."
