What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a locally owned and operated breakfast restaurant started by four friends! Most of our customers are regulars from the neighbourhood, but we also have lots of tourists visiting us!

Tell us about yourself

Being entrepreneurial in spirit, I wanted something that I could express my ideas and creativity and share it with the community. Seeing happy guests and happy staff doing what they do best is what keeps me motivated daily.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The biggest accomplishment is seeing more and more repeat customers come through the door and bringing their friends to visit! As well, retaining staff and keeping morale high is also something we're very proud of.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The lack of vacation time. There are times when I've worked years and couldn't get away even for a couple of days.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Have sufficient cash flow when you start, be adaptable in every sense, and when you fall down, get up, dust yourself off, and keep going.
