Inform, Influence, and Inspire - Eber Leadership Group
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Karen Eber, CEO of Eber Leadership Group, located in Atlanta, GA, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help companies reimagine and evolve how they build leaders, teams, and their culture. A big part of this is helping leaders learn how to use storytelling to inform, influence, and inspire. My clients are Senior Executives and C-suite with the Fortune 500.
Tell us about yourself
I am an international consultant and keynote speaker. I believe in helping leaders reimagine and evolve the way they do work to create interesting and healthy workplaces. I love helping leaders unlock how to use storytelling to connect with their organizations and clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I gave a TED talk on storytelling with almost 2 million views, which led to a book deal. I am publishing "The Perfect Story: How to tell stories that inform, influence and inspire" in 2023. I'm very proud of this book and the way it will help make storytelling accessible.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
You have to look around corners to anticipate changes in the business market for yourself and your clients. You wear many more hats in your own business than you do in a corporate role, which leads to a lot of juggling.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be aware whatever you are working on in your personal growth becomes amplified in your business. It forces even more work and attention.
- Plan your time off and downtime and stick to it.
- Create a support network of people who are encouraging.
