What's your business, and who are your customers?
I run a family-centered health and wellness chiropractic office. We treat patients of all ages and strive to help them feel great, live pain-free, and maximize their health expression.
Tell us about yourself
I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare but didn't know exactly what that was going to look like. As a collegiate athlete, I sustained a back injury that landed me in a chiropractic office, where I received great care and was able to return to my sport. I had such a great experience that I decided to pursue chiropractic as a career. I'm motivated each day to help our community have the opportunity to live life to the fullest.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
In 2020, I won Business Person of the Year by my local chamber of commerce.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I would have to say the stress and uncertainty. Every day is a new day with a new challenge. The reward is there, but the challenges are also present.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Continually meet people in your community.
- Show up every day and focus on your strengths.
- Eliminate every area of discontinuity in your life.
