What's your business, and who are your customers?

EagleCrest Recovery is a 24-hour residential treatment facility licensed and monitored by the State of Arkansas Department of Health Services (DHS) and accredited by JCAHO to provide residential substance abuse services in a safe environment. Our program is designed to administer to the severity of the client's level of intoxication to achieve a safe and supportive withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs and to effectively facilitate their smooth transition into daily living.

Tell us about yourself

I've worked with adults and teens from all walks of life, including business leaders, military personnel, professional and college athletes, musicians, and professionals in the entertainment industry, as a Licensed Therapist MFT in the state of California.

My experience in the recovery field results from dealing with addiction issues that his clients have struggled with during eight years of private practice. Over the past eight years, I've co-founded two highly regarded SUD detox and treatment centers in Southern California. What motivates me is seeing the life-changing difference in people's lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Providing an excellent opportunity for investors. The average ROI on the projects I have managed is around 500 percent within 24 months of operation.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Regulatory requirements from various entities (county, state, federal) are a constant process that never ends. Having to be accountable to agencies is a good thing. Over-regulation can be a nightmare.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know your competition! What makes you think you can do better?
  2. Have a passion for what you do.
  3. Be humble and take advice from others!
