What's your business, and who are your customers?

Dream Clients Academy helps entrepreneurs launch their unique signature offer from concept to cash flow and learn how to brand & market themselves to sign their first 10+ clients.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a multi-passionate entrepreneur and, truth be told… a recovering recognition seeker, which led to a life of the constant strive to overachieve. I have always had a relationship to success that was entangled with overworking, an insatiable desire for more money, accolades, and trading in time with family for more time to get work done. I started my first "side hustle" at age 23 while working as a full-time General Manager in the fitness industry, and by 33 quit my very successful corporate job to pursue my own business and be home with my first daughter, Paislee. In 2017, we retired my husband, Dave, and he became the best full-time dad. Although on paper we "had it all," I was still unfulfilled. I felt I could always do "more." I chased the top ranks in my business, pushed to earn 7-figures like other coaches, and just kept going until I felt I "made it."

Dave went on to own and operate a race track during the summers (while still raising our little girl), which stretched us both to the brink. Quality time together was a commodity our family had very little of. Weeks before the birth of our second girl, Everlee, Dave had lost the rights to the land his race track operated on. It was then I had my first deep knowledge that freedom was possible. With nothing else keeping us tied to living in Canada, we started to look into living abroad. Less than a year later, we booked 1-way tickets to Mexico and have been living here ever since. One would think living in paradise would naturally embody FREEDOM. Well, not for this work-addicted hustler.

I rarely went on any of the fun adventures with the family, beach play dates, or meet-ups. I was committed to working and scaling my businesses so I could always have this lifestyle. The work came from pure fear of not enough, not aligned abundance and ease. Dave and the kids lived their free life at the expense of mom sitting in her room in front of her laptop. In 2021 I invested close to $150,000 in hiring the best of the best coaches to calibrate to as I leveled up my own business and chose to collapse time around my processes and workflow so I could earn more by doing fewer hours, but INTENTIONAL income-producing activities and in the right ENERGY. I was doing all the 'right' things. I was celebrating my biggest cash year in business in 2021 with just over $300,000, yet I felt such a void. February 2022, I hired a luxury brand agency to fly to Mexico and co-create an entirely new vision & mission. I knew I was ready for something BIG but had no idea to what extent this would change my life.

During that week, I cracked wide open. I had the greatest spiritual awakening of my life. Over hours of tears and breakthroughs, I birthed a completely NEW approach + meaning to my purpose with leading women. From my 15 years as a top-performing, goal-crushing corporate manager to my seven years as a wildly successful business owner, I have embodied my masculine energy with unwavering dedication and unbelievable stamina to get things done in the pursuit of financial gains. In fact, I chased money my whole life as a means of proving my worthiness, self-acceptance, and social belonging. I have done so much work to rewire beliefs about proving my ego's attachment to outcome & recognition and the energetics of money as my playground (not the bully).

I have released unhealthy competition, "why aren't I where she is yet?" and welcomed in the beauty of my own timeline. If ever confronted with the option to choose to cling to money over having freedom – I choose freedom. Freedom of self-expression, travel, schedule, opportunities, healthy relationships, and most importantly, family time. I am now here to pave the way for driven women to embody wealth that is created in less time behind a laptop (with more intentionality) and more time feeling ALIVE living life! Wealth can be healthy & holistically embodied. IT'S TIME TO MAKE FREEDOM YOUR NEW CURRENCY.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to triple my corporate income and free my husband to be a stay-at-home dad!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Knowing when to take down time! When it's your own business, you can find yourself working 24/7 because there's always MORE you can do. This may get you to your goals a minute sooner, but at what cost?

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a coach or mentor you love and pull up a chair. Having someone who has gone before you that you can calibrate to, get guidance from and lean on through the rocky roads, the more likely you are to keep going!
  2. It takes small, seemingly insignificant actions every day that compound over time to produce massive results.
  3. Play in the field of potential. Venture from what's only predictable, and start to play within the magic of what could be. Dream often. Let those dreams percolate. And never, I repeat, never, quit on a bad day. 80% of your business will be bad days in the beginning, but you only need 20% of the good days to turn your idea into a 6 figure empire.
