What's your business, and who are your customers?

We coach successful people on mental toughness. Our clients are professional athletes and corporate athletes who have success but still want to make an impact. We help guide them through the pitfalls that accompany the struggles, setbacks, and challenges with success.

Tell us about yourself

I fell off an 80-foot cliff in college, and that was a hinge moment in my life. It made all of the difference because I lived and then found my chosen path in life. I was the mental coach for multiple winners on the PGA Tour, Indy Eleven, and the University of Notre Dame.

I worked with a medalist at the Rio Olympics. I was the sport psychology coach for the 2013 USTA National Champion. I have also caddied over 20+ events on the PGA Tour. Written seven (7) books on Mental Toughness and have an awesome sport psychology podcast- 15 Minutes of Mental Toughness.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, my biggest success is making it through the first five years. Then, the rewards started to really pay off, and those seeds that were planted started to grow! Professionally, spending an entire week at The Masters with my player was the biggest thrill.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest things are also the most rewarding, but it is being a product of the product and doing the daily disciplines needed to have success and significance. That and writing a book is hard. The 8th book on mental toughness is being written now. It is titled "I Can't Wait To Be Patient."

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Your net worth is directly tied to your network.
  2. Pay yourself first.
  3. Puke & Rally, meaning don't give up.
