What's your business, and who are your customers?
The SweetHeart Mitchell Collection is a series of our favorite products that reflect our real-life story; we are a newlywed couple with an Entrepreneurial Spirit that desires to share from our hearts with love while providing for our family. We have much in our story to share with our loyal customers. Our homemade products inspire healing in you and encourage daily self-care and self-love so you can put your oxygen mask on first. Our sea moss, whipped shea butter blends, candles, and essential oil blends are for individuals and couples. The SweetHeart Mitchell Collection represents both male and female viewpoints that inspire the best in YOU. We know you will enjoy US and Our Products. Thank you for supporting our vision. Tell us about yourself
We first got started after experiencing the many benefits of our very own products, everything from a stronger immune system and rarely catching colds or flu to having more energy every day to releasing pain from our bodies. David would go to work and share with his coworkers how the products were helping him, and they’d ask him if I could make them an order. We got a business license and began offering them in the community regularly.
We are motivated to keep doing what we do from the positive reports that we get from our customers when they share the great results from their blood work that our products are helping them to be healthier. The blood work tells the true story of health. It’s our ministry to help the community in their health and wellness journey.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment as business owners is that we continue to grow. We are now mobile with a Health and Wellness truck serving the Hampton Roads, Virginia Area and shipping all over the world. We are very excited about this accomplishment. We prayed for it and worked very hard as a team to make it happen. We are successful because people see how much we love one another and love sharing our products with others.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things is taking a small business and growing it to a larger, more profitable business to serve more people.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The top 3 tips we’d recommend are:
- Be aware that you are always marketing yourself everywhere you go. Share what you do and how you serve the community with everyone you encounter.
- Always provide excellent customer service to make your customers feel good and appreciated.
- Never give up and be consistent in your efforts to offer great service and products. Master your brand through practice and repetition to get better. You are your biggest competitor. Focus on these things, and you’ll be very successful.
