Tell us about yourself
When one of my dearest friends passed away at a young age without realizing her dream of entrepreneurship, I took action by creating products, programs, and services that would equip others with the tools they needed to succeed in entrepreneurship & ultimately thrive.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to drop everything and be there for my family when they needed me. Being there for my Mom when she was sick while my business was still growing was huge. My business continued to thrive because I did the work early on that was necessary to put systems in place so that I could be there for the ones who needed me most.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Many entrepreneurs hit the ground running but aren't able to maintain the pace of sustaining a consistent business because they are running at a pace they never trained for. Run your own race and realize that everyone's entrepreneurial journey is going to look different.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Run your own race - Don't compare your backstage to someone else's front stage.
- Invest in coaching - Hire someone who can help you achieve the results you desire. Look for a coach who is not simply just a cheerleader but someone who can ask powerful questions that will challenge you.
- Surround yourself with high achievers - Stay committed to your personal growth by surrounding yourself with like-minded people of excellence.
