What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are culture catalysts that initiate and accelerate the growth, clarification, and unification of an organization's workplace culture. We focus primarily on small to medium businesses working leadership teams that understand that culture is their only real competitive advantage that can't be bought, sold, traded, borrowed, copied, or stolen.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a psychologist by training, which means I've always considered how the environment influences human behavior. In our workplace, that environment is referred to as organizational culture. We believe that the work we do has an impact. Our cause is to advance humanity through the power of commerce, community, and culture.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Building a brilliant culture that focuses on our team's performance for our organization internally and being able to facilitate others doing the same for their organizations.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Understanding that building a culture is not an event; it is a process. We must work on it every day. Culture is like a garden. If you ignore your culture for a week, what do you get? Weeds. At the same time, if you spend time in your garden, if you spend time in your culture, it's a lot easier to grow the fruits, vegetables, and flowers you want to grow.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Focus on culture first. Money will follow.
  2. Build a culture that people want to belong to.
  3. Be sure you understand the needs of your market and customers. Then, exceed those needs.
