Tell us about yourself
I'm Peter Kolat, known as Polish Peter in the industry. I specialize in coaching immigrant entrepreneurs and business owners right here in the United States. My unique ability to dive deep into what's holding someone back from success has earned me the nickname Polish Tony among my students, drawing a comparison to Tony Robbins. I'm proud to say that I am a ROBBINS-MADANES TRAINED CERTIFIED COACH, and my dedication to my clients' growth was recognized when I was voted as Lifeonaire's Coach of the Year.
My journey began when I arrived in the United States at the age of 14, coming all the way from Poland. I landed in a small town called Hamtramck, a suburb of the Detroit area, with just a suitcase in hand and no knowledge of the English language. But today, things are quite different. I am the owner of a successful national business development and coaching company that has served individuals from various walks of life. I've had the privilege of working with high 6 and 7-figure businesses in 16 different industries across the country, and my clients consistently achieve positive returns on their investments in both their businesses and their lives.
In addition to my coaching work, I also run a thriving online podcast and am the proud founder of the first-ever Immigrant entrepreneur-centered Mastermind called Immigrants United. Furthermore, I co-host the popular Lifeonaire Show alongside CEO Jason Wojo. On a personal level, I am a family man with three children. My wife and I love to travel around the country, exploring new places together. I'm a devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings and take great pride in my Polish roots, which are an integral part of my character. After 31 years, I still consider Michigan my home.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to live my life the way I want, when I want, however I want, and working on the business 20-25 hours a week.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Uncovering the blind spots that stop us from growing and leveling up in business, most of the time, it's the mindSHIFTs that need to happen in order to succeed and grow as a business owner.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- It starts with your mind, uncovering the limiting beliefs and blind spots and reframing them for success.
- You have to create and WRITE down a vision for your LIFE first, then your business.
- It's not about the how; it's about the WHO.
