What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a corporate psychologist, author, speaker, and coach who works with high-achieving professionals with demanding lives. I help them learn how to thrive and flourish without unnecessary distress. I'm passionate about accelerating mental health awareness in the workplace and helping people build psychological fitness.
Tell us about yourself
I knew when I was young that I wanted to be a Psychologist. My clients motivate me every day. It is a great privilege to have people show up and be vulnerable, inviting me into their lives and trusting me with it. I get to be witness to their personal and professional growth, development, and transformation.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Writing my book was a passion project. I consider it one of my biggest accomplishments because, despite the fear of putting it out there, I released it before I was ready. I was inspired to publish it in the service of helping anyone possible. Even if it helps one person, it's worth it to me.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I struggle with the administrative processes necessary to run a business. Facing rejection can be discouraging as well.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
