Tell us about yourself
I'm Dinah Temple, the founder of Vibe TV Network. I'm 1 of only 9,000 Roku TV and Amazon Fire TV channel publishers in the world. I have a bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing, and I've been in the digital marketing space since the internet began over 20 years ago. I have a wide background in website design and mobile app development, and I specialize in creating and publishing TV channels for businesses nationwide that are published on two of the biggest streaming tv platforms in the world, Roku TV and Amazon Fire TV.
My motivation is fueled by the fact that very few businesses are aware that they can actually own their own TV Channel for their business and stream video episodes to millions of potential new customers, so I feel compelled to spread the word!
Once I attained the knowledge on how to develop and publish tv channel apps on ROKU TV and AMAZON FIRE TV, I realized that this is the perfect way for businesses to widen their reach for a ridiculously low investment compared to the status quo national advertising. Because I own my own network, I'm able to offer TV channel ownership for life which makes everyone very happy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Although I have a bachelor's degree in business and marketing, it was earned before the internet. I still had to attend the school of hard knocks and teach myself EVERYTHING I now know about marketing in the digital age. The learning curve was brutal but very rewarding!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
For me, the hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is learning how to balance the day. Between the desire to work 15 hours a day because it's actually fun and the desire to be with family, which is more fun.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure your business has recurring monthly revenue to get you through the slow times.
- Build your business in such a way that it can be duplicated.
- Make your business scalable once you find the secret sauce that makes your business profitable.
