What's your business, and who are your customers?

Dimensions of Heaven & Earth is the Valley's exciting new holistic experience - a one-stop specialty retail store and spiritual development center ready to help you awaken your Greatest YOU! With everything you need to cleanse and balance your energy, Dimensions is ready to guide you toward a higher self-awareness through soul coaching, certification classes, and guided meditations, along with our specialized gifts and accessories.

Dimensions also includes online and remote services for our out-of-state clients. Our customers struggle with anxiety, pain, and depression, and we help to balance their energies and remove the negativity that interferes with their peace. Our students seek to broaden their personal development and integrate mind, body, and spirit to help them attain their goals.

Tell us about yourself

I never expected to wear so many "hats" in my career, and our business is no exception. As an aerospace engineer and a battlefield communications specialist, I certainly didn't expect to find a path to becoming a Reiki Master or a spirit rescue medium. In my first class on Reiki, I experienced an awakening that I had never anticipated. When I began to send healing energy to animals and people a thousand miles away, it was an incredible insight into how I might truly help people.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our most exciting accomplishment is the new holistic center we are building in Scottsdale, AZ!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is finding and serving the right customer base for your products and services. Keeping your business relevant and continuing to evolve to meet their ever-changing needs are key components of a successful strategic plan.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be flexible - understand that your plans, products, and services are meant to meet customer needs and interests. As these interests change, so should your offerings.
  2. Have integrity - work honestly and with intention when you connect with your customers. Even if you are unable to meet their needs, help them find a business that can.
  3. Never stop learning - your own personal growth applies directly to your business, and your education will provide new insights into new products for your customers.
