What's your business, and who are your customers?
Simply put, I provide practical personal development tips to help individuals gain confidence and achieve their goals. I currently do this through social media posts, coaching, my book, and my podcast, Diligent Minds.
Tell us about yourself
I fell in love with personal development as I was coming out of a deep depression. I stumbled across the subject of mindset and felt it was really powerful. I had always passed up on this type of content previously because most people had always made it seem so complicated. I took it upon myself to make it easy for the average person to grasp and apply in their lives. I am driven because it is my passion and purpose to help millions not just realize but reach their full potential.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
So far, my biggest accomplishment has been my ability to help individuals from around the world realize their greatness. I receive messages from podcast listeners from all over the world telling me how my content has helped them get through tough times. This will never get old because this is the exact reason I do what I do.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
For me, it's having balance. I become so focused on helping others and hitting the goals that I neglect myself and the relationships around me.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- I'd say do it for love and passion, not money. This makes it easy to get up and do the work on those days you feel discouraged.
- Have a plan and stick to it. It never works out as you plan, but things work out for the best in the end.
- Believe in yourself and your abilities. Always look for room for improvement within yourself.
